The design of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 remains consistent without undergoing a significant overhaul. The external display retains its previous dimensions, measuring 1.9 inches diagonally and featuring a Super AMOLED panel. This external screen facilitates the viewing of notifications and provides access to widgets for various applications.
The exterior of the Z Flip 4 maintains its familiar appearance, with frames crafted from Armor Aluminium. The thickness remains unchanged, measuring 17.1 mm at the hinge and 15.9 mm at the points where the display edges meet. Consequently, the size of the gap when the phone is folded remains consistent.
Performance and Battery:
Powering the Z Flip 4 is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, available in three storage configurations: 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 8/512GB. Running on Android 12-based One UI 4.1 out-of-the-box, the device already has access to the stable version of the new One UI 5 (Android 13) update.

Cameras
The Flip 4 maintains identical camera specifications from the previous year, featuring a dual-camera setup with two 12MP lenses—one serving as the main camera and the other as an ultrawide lens. On the main screen, there's a 10MP selfie camera. Notably, users can utilize features like FlexCam to capture group selfies from different angles by partially folding the phone. Samsung has also partnered with Meta to optimize the FlexCam service for popular social media platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
